Play With Colours
Playing with bright and soft colours is an integral part of the design. It is visually appealing and has positive psychological effect on kids. It makes their learning process easy and carefree, if colours are embossed in various forms such as wall art, like cartoons, birds, sky, tree wall decals, stars, teddy bear, and so on. It establishes a connection between them and the place they are coming to learn, play and study. Embellish the place with a small little toy section.
Set up tables and chairs of low height for the toddlers. The table and chairs can be of different colours or patterns, but make sure to avoid any sharp edged furniture or glass furniture.
Place colourful carpet or one with patterns as it would be helpful during winter, where kids can sit on the carpeted floor, play and have fun in their classes.
Ventilation, Storage & Corridors
Proper ventilation is required in the room for the fresh flow of air. We do not aim at providing them just a place to learn and play but to provide them a homely environment so that they can learn, play and study at the same time.
There should be a dedicated storage place for every kids to keep their belongings safely. The colourful painted shelves or paintings of birds or cartoon character on them will look appealing to them.
Painted or stickers on the walls of the corridor is a good option.
Lighting
There should be proper ventilation to allow natural lights to enter the room. It’s not that difficult to design a preschool, kindergarten if one knows the exact requirements. Hence plan smartly and get all set, to create a beautiful space for the innocent ones!
